that you do not shave the day of treatment.
Many of the body treatment services require more exposure of the skin.
Care is taken to drape the body when possible. Disposable undergarments
will be supplied.

Treatment times are approximate and order of treatments may vary depending upon availability of technicians and rooms.
Most of our spa packages will include use of multiple rooms and the shower
facilities. Your clothes and personal items will be escorted with you an
dyou will be supplied with a robe and sandals. Our shower facility is stocked
with towels, body soap and shampoo/conditioner for your use..
As multiple rooms and therapists will be reserved, especially for you,
all spa packages require a credit card reservation. Please see our policies
page at the end of the brochure for cancellation requirements.
Waxing
Mr. and Ms. Day Spa offers full body waxing services year round. Waxed areas stay softer and smoother longer as hair is removed from the follicle rather than the surface. Waxed hair becomes finer and grows in sparser over time as hair follicles become weakened.
Waxing Guidelines
A minimum of a quarter of an inch of hair is required. Additional charges
will apply for excessive amounts of hair and for hair that is more than
half an inch long. Hair that is over three quarters of an inch cannot be
waxed.
Redness and sensitivity are normal after waxing.
Avoid sun exposure and products that contain alcohol or acids as they may
cause irritation or scabbing within the first 24 hours.
Limited contact should be made to the area that has been freshly waxed.
Waxing cannot be done if you are using or taking certain internal or topical
prescription medications. You will receive a consent form prior to your
service listing these medications.
Depending upon the area to be waxed you will be draped appropriately at
all times. Disosable undergarments are also provided for some waxing services.
You may experience increased sensitivity with waxing during menstruation
and pregnancy.
Exfoliation is recommended between waxing services to help deter ingrown
hairs and to better prepare area for future waxing.
Health Services
Chiropractic Care with Dr. Jack Schlingman
Gentle manipulation of the spinal column is performed using current methods
of chiropractic care. Proper alignment of the spine is essential
for optimal health and overall well being.
Dr. Jack accetps ILWU insurance and most PPO insurance plans. Did you know
that massage services are often times covered with medical insurance? Please
inquire within and see if you could be enjoying the benefit of this coverage.

As our name indicates, Mr. and Ms. Day Spa's services are beneficialand
available to both men and women.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available in any dollar amount and may be used towards
all Mr. and Ms. Day Spa services and products. Please have recipient bring
their certificate in for redemption. Please note that gift certificates
are not refundable, exchangeable, or replaceable if lost or stolen.

Payment
Payment is to be made to your independent therapist. We accept MasterCard,
Visa Discover and American Express are gladly accepted at Mr. and Ms. Day
Spa. Gratuities are given at your discretion. They are not included in the price of services
Scheduling
Although we accept walk-ins, to assure we can accommodate your needs we
recommend you schedule an appointment with our receptionist.
Vistor Information
If you are new to receiving services at our spa you will want to know that
your comfort is one of our top priorities.
We recommend, when possible, to arrive in casual clothing to aid in dressing
and undressing. Limit the items you bring in to just the most necessary
to avoid items being misplaced. Make sure to silence your cell phone. We
encourage you to relax and unwind.
Your therapist will greet and escort you to your room where you can undress
down to your comfort level. During massage and facial services you will
be discreetly covered by a sheet at all times only exposing the areas to
be worked on.
Some body treatments and waxing services will include disposable undergarments
to complete the service.
Towels, shampoo/conditioner and body soap are supplied in our shower facilities.
Robes and sandals are also available.
Please inform your therapist if you are uncomfortable during your service
in any way. This includes the massage pressure, room temperature and music
volume.
After your service it's recommended you drink plenty of water to help your
body process the benefits of your service.
Policies and Guidelines
Arrival Time: We recommend that you arrive five minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Unfortunately, late arrivals cannot receive an extension of their scheduled time. We will hold your appointment for ten minutes, after which, we may give it away to another client.
Cancellations:: Treatment times are reserved especially for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 4 hours prior to your appointment time as a courtesy to your therapist and the
spa.
Credit Card: We require a credit card number to; reserve appointments for three or more persons, for treatments of more than two hours, and for spa packages and all appointments on holidays and holiday weekends. Failure to cancel at least 4 hours prior to your appointment may result in a 50% charge of services to your
card.
Product Returns: We gladly accept product returns/exchanges within 14 days of purchase with a receipt.
Noise: Please refrain from loud conversation or noise. Please turn off cell phones so you and others can enjoy a peaceful experience at Mr. and Ms. Day Spa.
Please no children in the spa unless they are receiving services.
We reserve the right to refuse service, without a refund, for inappropriate
actions or language. Mr. and Ms. Day Spa is not responsible
for lost items.
